The Player Characters have one mission: find and board a Harvester black ship. How? By walking through the front door and then blowing up the entrance so that no one come in or out. Leading this suicide mission is Holden Ash'ur, a member of the Shining Patrol.

The attack is not without casulaties. Kham nearly shoots his own fingers off after getting caught in a trap, Vlad gets electrocuted. IlmarÄ— Galen is nearly killed by a lightning bolt from the Commandant, who calls a draw after defeating Quintus and Vlad. This was the first time the PCs were soundly defeated--Quintus swore to get revenge on the nameless Harvester.

With the Black Ship under control and a set of Harvester cloaks as a disguise, it was time to drop off Cassicus and rescue Xerxes, Sevestia's father. Quintus bargains with Gorman, sealing the boy's fate along with Ymandragore's. Then it's on to Lucius Orata's manse.

After defeating goblins, panthers, and a flesh golem, Xerxes is rescued along with another startling discovery: they find the real Theron's body. So who is the man they believe to be Theron?

Xerxes turns out to be a typical elorii; arrogant, angry, and pushy. He demands that the assassination attempt on Gemellus Pravus be stopped. The PCs have not choice but to go along.

Thanks to Kham and Holden's quick-thinking, the assassination is thwarted. Xerxes' release and Gemellus' survival ensure that Orata's plan will fail. In addition, Cassicus will undoubtedly spread the plague to other parts of Ymandragore. The mission accomplished, the heroes head for home.

Quintus finally asks IlmarÄ— to join him on his farm. She doesn't exactly say yes, but she doesn't say no either.
