Loyal and extremely morose, Edward is the First Mate to Captain Baldric. He tends to be the voice of reason and history, always happy to expound on why a particularly daring gambit won't work.
With Baldric going honest (or at least, political), Edward has instead taken up control of the Shrike. Given that the Shrike hasn't done much in the way of piracy or even adventure, you can guess how it's working out.
Recently, Edward decided to do something exciting for once and steal a Valossan mummy from Sulfurmarsh. Unfortunately for him, it turned out that the mummy was actually a samat. After Kham brought it to life, the samat immediately beheaded Edward for his impertinence. Of course, perhaps the samat was guiding his actions all along...
