Nikko's brief life served as a reminder that Baldric is not to be messed with. When the former pirate discovered his drink had been spiked by Nikko, he and his men murdered the bartender and then stuffed him under the bar.
It served as a distinct reminder to everyone in Freeport that nobody should mess with Baldric...or the Player Characters. Nikko's place, known as the Goodly Fisher, was purchased sold and renamed to the Pale Plate, a place Kham often frequents.
