Parsippus was something of a zealot, always happy to bring the Word of Illiir to the masses, even in Scurvytown. When he discovered that an old temple to Illiir had been inahbited by vandals, he decided to get help.
Quintus Aurelius Ignatius had docked in Freeport along with IlmarÄ— Galen. Parsippus heard of his deeds and requested Quintus help him with something that shouldn't have been anything more than scaring off a few thugs.
But it was much worse than that. Khorbon, leader of a local cell of the Brotherhood of the Yellow Sign, had moved into the temple. He ambushed Quintus and killed Parsippus.
