• Description: Zainat is an attractive Altherian man clad in a large midnight blue watch coat, festooned with colorful ribbons, braids and embroidery. He wears black-and-white pantaloons and always carries an exquisitely crafted flintlock pistol tucked into his broad purple belt. Curiously, Zainat speaks with a strange drawl that's not common to Altheria.

As an Altherian priest, Zainat took a special interest in Kham val'Abebi's propensity for carrying multiple flintlock pistols, far more than any val should carry. Zainat was determined to bring Kham to justice, and a bit more determined when he discovered there was a substantial bounty on Kham's head.

Zainat's plan was to provide a distraction while Broled Knenag and company kidnapped Emric. It worked, but not quite as he expected--instead of facing Zainat in a good old fashioned showdown in the middle of the street, Kham tried to bribe Zainat's thugs. Zainat used a spell instead, and Kham found himself running for his life.

The second time they met, Kham was ready. While Zainat called out for Kham to show himself in the warehouse, Kham snuck in from above and ambushed the Altherian priest with his illegal pistols. Zainat cast another spell that would surely have hurled Kham to his death...but Kham had some foresight too, and managed to keep himself tied securely to the roof.

In the end, Zainat died at the hands of a rampaging merrow, one of Sycorax's minions. Thus ended Zainat's brief career as a bounty hunter.
