The val'Abebis get around, as evidenced by Kham val'Abebi, who is a member of the Emerald Society. In fact, it seems being a val'Abebi and member in the Society goes hand-in-hand: Qolwa, Kham's purported "uncle," was also a member and helped spirit away the Collar of Khidam.
